International Politics (Dual Credit)I was first to implement a dual credit course at Archbishop Hoban High School. I wanted to bring a new level of rigor to the curriculum and provide interested students an opportunity to take their learning to the next level while gaining college credit.
HOmetown HistoriesLearning about world history and culture is great and important, but social studies skills such as analysis and problem-solving can be mastered through the study of local history and culture too. I built the Hometown Histories course with the idea that students could see, touch, and engage with the content, not just read about it in a textbook.
World CulturesI've spent 13 years turning the World Cultures curriculum into something that inspires through project-based learning. My goal has been to get students to take an active role in their learning, both in the classroom and out.
