Needy jump
My submission to the 2024 Highland Square Film Festival. Needy Jump is not just a story. In fact, it's not really a story, but the film does center on . . . well, it really doesn't center on anything. However, the film's title is a nod to Gordon Jump, who does not appear in this film, mainly because his estate refused my requests to swim in their pool in order to get a better feel as to what it might have been like to be Gordon Jump. Starring Anna Straus, Dan Hinton, Micah Kraus, Kim Eggleston-Kraus, Matt Bryant, Curtis Minter, Arnie Tunstall, and number of other up-and-coming stars. Needy Jump scored a 10 out of 10 on IDon'tKnowWhat'sGoingOn.com.

Akron2Akron Tours
From 2016 to 2020, I organized and led the Akron2Akron Walking Tours, where the goal was to bring people together who might not otherwise meet each other and to introduce the participants to Akron businesses and recreational locations.
The picture on the right is an image from our tour of the Middlebury neighborhood. We were granted access to the rooftop of the Goodyear building so that we could enjoy a view of Akron from above. The best part of the Akron2Akron Tours was working with Akronites to help promote their businesses. (check out the Akron2Akron Facebook page for more details and images of past walks) |

Storytelling
During a Wandering Aesthetics event I told the story of my first job out of college: playing a mascot for the Nashville Sounds. Perhaps not what my parents had in mind for a newly christened business major, but they underestimated the prestige of being Ozzie the Cougar and the powers one embodied when wearing the musty cloak of acrylic fur.

Activate This Spot Podcast
A podcast that unpacks how to navigate the nods of activation . . . all while getting off topic. What do experts say about how to bring a city to life? I'm not sure, but I speak to quite a few of them in Activate This Spot. A satire of sorts.
Here, I speak with Akron expert Dave Lieberth about activating Maiden Lane. |
